Shot on Location in Zion National Park

To help Mammut strengthen its presence in North America, we produced fifteen on-location product videos and over 300 photo assets in Zion National Park. By collaborating with athletes Steph Davis and Grant Perdue, each video was grounded in real-world use and authentic storytelling. The campaign was featured on Mammut’s YouTube channel and retail partner sites like REI and Backcountry.com, reinforcing the brand’s identity in the North American climbing scene.

The Mission

Mammut is a brand with deep roots in Swiss alpine heritage, but in this project, they were looking to deepen their foothold in North America. With a strong presence in rock climbing, mountaineering, and hiking, they needed a way to communicate the performance of their products against the backdrop of iconic North American scenery.

The Approach

Shot on location at Zion National Park, we set out to create a series of product videos and photos that used a creative approach to storytelling by working closely with Mammut athletes, Steph Davis and Grant Perdue. This approach made the message in each of the videos feel like friendly advice from fellow climbers at the local crag. Filmed over the course of five days, our team hiked, climbed and ran with cameras in hand to capture the diversity of product and scenery.

Distribution & Impact

  • Featured on Mammut’s YouTube channel
  • Integrated into retail pages across REI, Backcountry.com, and other e-commerce partners
  • Helped reinforce Mammut’s identity as a North American climbing brand
