Introducing: The Backcountry Marketing Podcast Slack Community

Do you miss the impromptu brainstorming sessions at the water cooler? Us too. Most of us are all remote now, which has its benefits, but it comes at the cost of having to rely on Chat-GPT to brainstorm. That changes today.

This Slack community is the next iteration of the mission of the Backcountry Marketing Podcast: to help marketers and creatives in the outdoor industry think smarter, go deeper, and ask better questions.

If you’ve ever found yourself stuck on an idea, questioning your instincts, or just wishing for someone to poke holes in your thinking, this space is for you.

Rules:

1. Give More Than You Take - Share ideas, offer feedback, and connect others.

2. Leave Your Ego at the Door - This is a space for generous conversation.

3. Engage With Purpose - This is for marketing and the outdoor industry

4. Privacy -You're responsible for your own privacy

5. Be Candid, Not Cynical - Candidness is encouraged. Don't be a jerk

6. Treat Others With Respect - Disagree with ideas, not people.

7. No Spam or Unsolicited Promotion - No pitching. Period.

8. Participate in Onboarding - Introduce yourself in the #introduction channel

9. Bring Curiosity - Challenge assumptions and ask questions

10. Share Half-Baked Ideas - This isn't a place for perfect thoughts

To protect the integrity of the community, admission is by application only. Apply below. Already been a guest on the podcast? Reach out and we'll get you added.
